Photos: Mission Week Board Game Tug of War

Junior Charles Long (along with his classmates who are not pictured) strains to keep the seniors from winning the tug of war match during the Board Game on Feb. 10, 2023. The seniors would win this matchup as well as the overall Board Game competition.

A tug of war competition between classes was one part of the Mission Week Board Game. A total weight limit for participants was imposed on all the grades. While the juniors, sophomores and freshmen generally chose larger members of their respective classes, the seniors utilized a ‘less is more’-type of strategy and employed competitors who, individually, didn’t weigh as much, but proved collectively stronger. It proved to be a successful tactic as the seniors beat the freshman first, then took down the juniors in the final matchup.
