I am a senior, and this is my third year writing for Prep News. This is also my first year as an editor. I originally joined the newspaper because it would look good on a college resume. However, I stayed because I enjoyed the freedom and investigative aspect of it. Newspaper has played an important role for me during my high school career, as now I have landed a leadership role.
Outside of the newspaper, lacrosse takes up a majority of my time. I've played since 3rd grade, and now play for Rockhurst and Top Gun Midwest in the summer. Also, over the past year, I've started to play a lot of golf. Although, I play almost every week, I still get excited when I don’t slice my ball two fairways over off the tee.
I'm still not sure where I want to go for college or what I want to study. However, I hope I can change that in the near future.
