Rock Fantasy Football Podcast – Week 13

This is my second year on the broadcasting staff for Prep News. I joined broadcasting, because I have had an interest in broadcasting since I was younger. Watching different sports is what got me interested. I thought it would be fun to commentate a game. Another reason I joined this class is because I think it helps me stay involved with Rockhurst, since I am making different content about different types of events going on around the school. I also liked the class the first year, and I wanted to continue taking it. Outside of broadcasting, I am involved in baseball for Rockhurst and club baseball during the summer. My plans for the future are to go into physical therapy and, more specifically, sports medicine. It seems like an interesting job to have getting to work with people trying to help them get better. For college, I am planning on majoring in physical therapy, but I am still undecided on where I want to go.

This is my second year on the Prep News staff, and I came back for a second year, because I love filming video, and I am hoping to make it my career choice out of college. I am very excited for this year, and I can’t wait for what is in store for me. Being part of the Prep News staff looks great for my college resume, and I hope it will only help me get into my dream school, Kansas State. I am not really involved in any clubs at Rockhurst, but I am shooting for a spot on the varsity golf team. Some goals for my future would be getting into K-State and majoring in either broadcasting and journalism or sports management. I plan to get a bachelor’s degree in either of those subjects and hopefully a great job right out of college. I am currently working at a golf course and, if broadcasting doesn’t work out for me, then I can always go back to the course, which is like my second home outside of school.
