Tate Slaymaker, Staff Reporter
Hello, my name is Tate Slaymaker, and this is my third year on newspaper staff. I first joined the newspaper staff because my brother, Colin Slaymaker ‘16, always told me that I should join the newspaper staff, and I am glad I did. During my first two years on staff, I was the Back Page Editor, where I designed infographics and page layouts for the back page of the print edition of Prep News. Apart from newspaper, I am involved in many things at Rockhurst. I have swum for the Rockhurst Varsity Swim and Dive Team all four years of my high school experience. I am the Co-President of the National Honor Society, and I am a member of the Engineering Club. Next year, I plan on attending college and studying architecture.
