My name is Jake Bond, and this is my second year writing for the Prep News. As a senior editor, I’m hoping to boost the audience of our work, while honing my own ability as a prospective journalism major.
Outside of the newsroom, I am a captain of the cross country team and a 4x state champion between XC and track. I was also a part of the 4×800 meter relay team that captured a win at the Penn Relays.
In my free time, I love watching sports and enjoy consuming all kinds of media, from articles and books to movies and music. After Rockhurst, I hope to continue to study journalism while furthering my running career.
