My name Noah Johnson. I’m a sophomore, and this is my first year as a part of Prep News.

Outside of newspaper, I swim for Rockhurst and play some basketball in my free time. I love watching basketball and football, especially my favorite teams, the Thunder and the Chiefs. I also like to play video games, listen to music, and play with my dog.

I’ve wanted to do newspaper since I found out about it during my freshman year, as I’ve always liked writing about things I’m interested in. I’m excited to hopefully be able to write about interesting events and stories around Rockhurst, and be able to inform other people about events happening at their school that they might not be aware of otherwise.

My goals for this year are to improve my writing and to be able to make interesting, informative stories. My goals after this year are to keep at least a 4.0 GPA and make the varsity swim team, as well as to continue to work hard at Prep News.
