My name is Liam Daly, and I am a senior on the Prep News staff, focused on broadcasting. This is my third semester on staff. I wanted to be a part of this, because I really enjoyed being a part of it both my junior and freshman year. Another reason I wanted to be on staff is that I feel like there is so much to showcase at Rockhurst, and want to be a part of keeping the community up to date on everything that’s happening around campus. Last year, I did a lot of highlights for the soccer team and covered their historic season, and hope to do so again.

Besides broadcasting, I am a linebacker on the football team and middle blocker for the volleyball team. I have a mowing business, enjoy watching sports and spending time with family and friends.

In the future, I hope to study journalism in college and am in the process of finding a school to attend. I am extremely excited to be a part of the Prep News staff this year, and can’t wait to share my work with everyone. I’m looking forward to a great semester on staff and can’t wait to get started!
