My name is Leo Menghini. This year, my junior year, is my first year on the newspaper staff. I decided to join newspaper this year out of interest. I was interested, because I enjoyed the idea of being able to interview people and write stories on them. I enjoy gathering the opinions and beliefs of others to gain knowledge. I also hope to improve my writing skills and improve on my ability to keep readers hooked.

At Rockhurst, I am involved in tennis. I was part at the 3rd place state tennis team last year. I hope to be inducted into National Honor Society this spring.

Outside of school, I enjoy golfing and spending time with friends and family.

In the future, I hope to graduate Rockhurst with a GPA of 4.0, then attend Notre Dame or Boston College. This would be a major accomplishment for me, but I know one that will not come easily. I hope to not lose sight of my goals and to work towards them everyday.
