My name is Leo Menghini. This year, my senior year, is my second as a member of the Prep News staff. After taking newspaper last year, I am excited to return and improve my skills even more this year. I enjoy newspaper, because I love being able to interview people and deliver informative stories to the Rockhurst community. I enjoy gathering the opinions and beliefs of others to gain knowledge on important topics. I also hope to improve my writing skills and my ability to keep readers hooked.

At Rockhurst, I am involved in tennis. I was part of the team that took third place at state in the spring, and the runner-up team last year. I am also a member of National Honor Society, and have been a part of many volunteer service opportunities.

Outside of school, I run my own car detailing business and enjoy golfing and spending time with friends and family.

In the future, I hope to graduate from Rockhurst with a GPA of 4.0 and pass my four AP tests this year. Next year, I plan to attend college and hope to use the skills I have learned in newspaper to help me at the next level. Throughout my senior year, I am ready to work hard every day and not lose sight of my goals. I am excited to round out my senior year with one more year of newspaper.
