Sit-Down with Coach Thomas

My name is Henry Hahn, and this is my second semester on the Prep News Media staff. I wanted to be on the staff, because I’ve always wanted to be a professional sports broadcaster or analyst. I felt like being on staff could definitely help me get my foot in the door of the broadcasting world. I also have just always wondered what goes on behind the scenes of a news or sports broadcast. Outside of broadcasting, I am on the JV football team as an offensive lineman and long snapper. I am also on the Model UN team, where we compete at events and simulate UN conferences. One of my goals for the future is to play college football somewhere. If that does not pan out, though, I think my plan will be to go to a prestigious broadcasting school, like the University of Missouri, and try to become a commentator. A more immediate goal of mine right now, though, is to keep my GPA at a 3.7 or higher, so that way I can really control my own fate when it comes to college.
